The founder and owner of the NGO is Nildete Sampaio de Sousa. A teacher turned social entrepreneur, she founded
this organization 15 years ago to address the community’s dire need for child support.
The NGO is currently financially supported by Ms. de Sousa's salary and sporadic donations by members of the community and people who know about the NGO and its operations.
Located in Alto De Coutos, an hour and half away from Lapa Station (in Salvador, Brazil), our NGO is
worlds apart from the lively and opulent streets of developed Salvador. We invest in the development of not only orphans, but also children rescued from homes with domestic issues. Based in an underdeveloped locality in Salvador, Brazil, this organisation, while indispensable to its community, is facing dire situations due to lack of funding.
